Job description
Sentinel Group Security Ltd. are actively seeking applicants for the position of Security Operations Manager for Security services covering sites along the M4 Corridor of the UK.
The Security Operations Manager is accountable for providing direct line management to all sites within their area of responsibility and in support of the regional management team across the UK for services contractually provided by SGS. Customer relationship management and overall responsibility for service delivery. Managing compliance across several areas, including SIA licensing and service specific accreditation.
You will take ownership and responsibility for the day-to-day logistics, coordination, and operations within their remit. Ensure standards of service, policies and procedures are adhered to. Responsible for the formulation and implementation of all site-specific Assignment Instructions and emergency procedures.
Key Competencies
- Hold and maintain a current SIA license
- Experience in operational systems
- Strong relationship management, communication, planning and organising skills.
- Change Management
- Procedural process production
- Experience in producing management plans for changing security requirements.
- Compliance; understanding of the applicable Security Industry Authority and British Standards.

Essential Requirements
- Security Area/Operations Manager (minimum of 2 years experience)
- Full Clean Driving License
Additional Information
Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday
Location: Remote with travel to sites as required
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum
