2020 – With a focus on innovation, our technology division, Sentinel Technologies, is working to launch MiPeople –a BS7858 based screening and vetting system which combines HR functions.
2019 – Sentinel Group introduces a new strategy to transform Sentinel Group Security into a new way of working and adding multiple sectors to the customer base. Nominated for BSIA Fire & Safety Award.
2018 – Graeme Brown joins us as the Managing Director and Rob Whiffing took over the position of Security Excellence & Projects Director. SGS also established it’s National Operations Centre at Williams House, Manchester Science Park.
2017 – Continuing forward, our technology division launched ‘MiSentinel’ which has replaced the older multiple workforce management systems within our organisations and also extended these services to our partners.
2015 – We extended the portfolio towards the logistics sector, fashion and retail, providing national out of hours delivery services.
2013 – SGS signs off security contract with the UK and Europe’s largest automotive auction business – British Car Auctions.
2012 – SGS provided extensive support to businesses and properties during the London Riots. Focusing on security innovation our technology division ‘Sentinel Technologies’ was also launched.
2011 – Achieved highest NSI audit score first time in the history of the organisation and secured ACS pacesetters status. A training academy was also added to the Sentinel family to deliver in-house training and security courses.
2010 – As business expanded, a new operations centre was setup at Chigwell Lane, Loughton.
2009 – Became principle member of British Security Industry Association (BSIA).
2008 – Established an operations centre at Cranbrook House, Ilford.
2007 – First accredited for SIA ACS status and achieved ISO9001.
2006 – Established its first office at Linen Hall, Regent Street, London.
2005 – To serve the private security sector effectively, Sentinel Group Security Ltd was formed by Zafar Choudhry.
2004 – First security contract at Berkeley Hotel won by Endeavours UK Ltd, the first registered company of the Sentinel family.
